Marc joined us for the 2008 vintage with over 12 years of winemaking experience, including seven years at at Brown Brothers, where he was responsible for a very diverse portfolio. Marc was heavily involved in developing the style for products such as Pinot Grigio, Tempranillo, Arneis and Vermentino, as well as Sparkling Shiraz and fortified wines. At Rutherglen Estates Marc oversees all winemaking and winery operations. His experience with many varietals and wine styles is of great value, and makes him the ‘perfect match’ for both the traditional and alternative varieties in our innovative Rutherglen Estates portfolio.
Joining us in late 2007 from Orlando Wyndham in Langhorne Creek, South Australia, Matt manages the viticultural operations of our five vineyard sites. He revels in the opportunity to introduce new technology, along with proven practices, into Rutherglen Estates vineyards. As Matt is fond of saying ‘you can’t make good wine without good grapes’.
