Join Rutherglen Estates for a celebration of food, wine & great company!
The highly celebrated Re Lunch at Rutherglen Estates is back again on Saturday 22 October. Commencing at 12pm, the lunch will be a celebration of food, wine and great company in our picturesque and scenic vineyard location. Compared by sommelier, Rocco Esposito, the menu will be prepared by two hat chef Michael Ryan, accompanied with wines from Rutherglen Estates.
A four course à la carte long lunch will be prepared and presented by renowned two hat chef Michael Ryan. One of regional Victoria’s most respected chefs, Michael is the current co-owner of Provenance Restaurant in Beechworth. His generous, adventurous and passionate style of cooking brings together local produce with an Asian influence.
“… regardless of what is served, it would mean little and be far less tasty with out good company, and good wine.” Michael Ryan
Each succulent course will be matched to Rutherglen Estates wines by our winemaker Marc Scalzo. Marc’s extensive experience with many varietals and wine styles makes him the ‘perfect match’ for both the traditional and alternative varieties in our innovative Rutherglen Estates portfolio.
“Winemaking requires attention to detail in the cellar, so you can enjoy it in the bottle … with fine food and great company.” Marc Scalzo
Set in a marquee overlooking our stunning vineyards, top Australian sommelier, Rocco Esposito, will MC the afternoon. With a host of hospitality and wine service awards, and previous owner of the much praised Wardens Food & Wine in Beechworth, Rocco will entertain and enthrall you with his wine knowledge.
“I like wine to be an expression of ourselves. I think that’s important … I just listen to what my mouth tells me.” Rocco Esposito
Tickets are $135 per person, inclusive. If you would like to secure tickets, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 02 6032 7999.
