Our Fiano is white gold

Rutherglen Estates 2010 Fiano has been awarded 91 points in February/March 2011 issue of Gourmet Traveller Wine.

The wine tasting panel savoured the task of tasting the 'new' white varieties that are rapidly taking root in Australia's diversifying vineyards. Our Fiano was the highest rating Fiano out of the four they tasted, and 3rd highest rated out of all the wines and varietals tasted.

2010 RUTHERGLEN ESTATES FIANO has a rich, stone-fruit aroma with tropical hints and complexity from barrel-fermentation. The palate is well balanced, with a full body and a fine, talc-like texture. Forrestal (Peter) found it "vibrant, with pineapple and guava and a fresh, crisp finish".

Tastes of Two Regions 7 July 2013
Join wine and food producers from Rutherglen and the King Valley as they present their wares to the folk of Canberra. Held at the Rydges Lakeside it is a great chance to sample what our great regions have to offer.
