Matthew Jukes reviews our Wine Rules wines ...
Matthew Jukes, Wine Rules, November 20112010 Fiano'The
scintillating Fiano variety, from Campania in southern Italy, loves its
new home in Rutherglen. With dramatic lemon balm and greengage fruit on
the nose and a druncy, bitingly refreshing finish this is an ideal
accompaniment to crustacea and seafood dishes and it will provide you
with a welcome break from interminable waves Sauvignon Blanc. There are
few Fianos making the headlines over here and this is one of the very
best.'2008 Renaissance Zinfandel'Hold
onto your hat, this extraordinarily spicy Zin is one of the richer wines
in this years line up. With black liquorice and blueberry notes on the
palate, and an entire spice warehouse on the nose this is a veritable
orgy for the senses and heartily recommend that you join in the
proceedings.'
