2009 Renaissance VRM is awarded another great review ...

Rutherglen Estates 2009 Renaissance VRM (Viognier Roussanne Marsanne) 92/100
The Shepparton News - Weekend Wine- 14 January 2012

This is a flagship wine from winemaker Marc Scalzo and the bottle has medals to prove it. Blending 57% Viognier, 29%Roussanne and 14% Marsanne is difficult to get right at any time, but here they have done it wonderfully, emulating the Rhone style they are so proud of. That notable honeysuckle is evident as is the stone fruit and citrus flavours which give it life. The wine has good texture and balance with a thin line of toasty French oak working well here. It's a delicious and elegant wine and it would take two or three years laying down if you could wait that long.Try it with pork for something different.
