Our wines

‘From our first vintage release of a single wine, a Durif in 2001, our range has developed enormously.’

Our winemaking uses both traditional and modern techniques to produce a premium range of fresh fruit driven and varietally distinct wines with true regional character.

From our first vintage release of a single wine, a Durif in 2001, our range has developed enormously, to now to include almost 20 different wines, varying in style and appeal. While all our wines are consistent in their high quality, each displays the personality of our vineyards, our winemaker and importantly the vintage in which they were produced. With such a large range of fruit available from our own vineyards, our winemaker has the opportunity to experiment and take advantage of special parcels, regularly adding different wines to our core range.

Colours range

As our introductory range of dry table wines, the Colours range of wines delivers a White (Sauvignon Blanc)Rose (Grenache Shiraz) and Red (Shiraz Durif) wine that are fresh, flavoursome, very well balanced and not nearly as simple as their names suggest. These wines have had minimal or no oak treatment and while they are styled to drink rather than talk about, their quality belies their very affordable price.

Estate range

The range from which all our others have evolved. Our Estate wines are a classic, premium and innovative range of table wines produced from traditional Mediterranean varieties, with particular focus on those from Italy and France's Rhone Valley. All wines in this range, except for our fresh Shelley's Block (Marsanne Viognier), use Hungarian or American oak barrels for up to 12 months, selected for the variety and the vintage.

Renaissance range

Our Renaissance range of premium wines celebrate the texture, intensity and beauty of our natural environment. Our Viognier Roussanne Marsanne, Zinfandel and Petit Sirah (reserve Durif) are small volume, special reserve wines that have been handcrafted from the best fruit our vineyard produces, and matured in the finest oak barrels. They herald a new perspective on the ideal suitability of the chosen varieties to the Rutherglen region. Our beautiful label images are individually selected to reflect the depth and personality of each wine.

Spritzy, sparkly & sticky

A must for a region with such a ‘sweet’ reputation, we produce Muscat every year and blend our non-vintage release to be a fresh, clean and youthful Rutherglen Muscat style. We have, after all, the reputation of the Rutherglen fortified to uphold!

Sparkling red wines are also a Rutherglen specialty, and our limited release Sparkling Shiraz Durif is perfect for any celebratory occasion.

Something fun for both wine-lovers and those who never though wine would be their ‘cup of tea' is our Sangipop. This is a delicious berry bomb of Sangiovese flavour, cherry and spice, with a hint of fizz and a touch of sweetness.
