White 12 Pack
The White 12 Pack includes 2 bottles each of:
2009 White (Sauvignon Blanc)
NEW RELEASE An exciting new release from our Colours range, our White Sauvignon Blanc is very fresh, flavoursome, well balanced and sugar dry ... and not nearly as simple as it’s name suggests. White is clean, White is fresh, White is fruity ... Our White Sauvignon Blanc is the perfect wine for any occasion.
Shelley's Block (2009 Marsanne Viognier)
NEW RELEASE We are proud to be releasing our newly labelled Shelley's Block. This unoaked blend of Marsanne and Viognier is a perfect alliance of varieties that share a common heritage and show a natural affinity for each other. Marsanne provides the fresh, fruit citrus backbone of the wine, with Viognier adding richness and intensity to both the palate and the nose.
2009 Arneis
As an un-oaked style, with a slightly herbaceous aroma, flavours of almond and pears, a lovely fresh acidity and lingering aftertaste, we believe this wine to be a perfect summer wine, to be enjoyed with all manner of summer fare!
2008 Viognier
With palate tantalising flavours, our 2008 Viognier displays strong honeysuckle, apricot, lychee and tropical fruit sensations that are complemented by creamy vanilla and coconut undertones.
2008 Viognier Roussanne Marsanne
NEW VINTAGE After the success of our gold medal winning 2007 vintage, we have been eagerly awaiting the release of this rich and indulgent white wine. Grown in our Shelley's Vineyard, specially selected fruit parcels of Viognier, Roussanne and Marsanne were barrel fermented and matured for six months, to produce a beautifully balanced and harmonious white wine, with elegant acidity and a touch of class.
2009 BdV Muscat
This delicate fortified Muscat is our second vintage of this earlier harvested fortified style, with only a small quantity made. In keeping with the traditional style, the wine is highly aromatic, has lovely floral hints of rose and musk, and a delicately light yet sweet palate, with lingering flavours of Turkish Delight and apricots.
James Halliday, Australian Wine Companion 2010 Tony Keys, The Key Review of Wines, Issue 21, August 2009 Sally Gudgeon, Sunday Age, 24 May 2009 Fergus McGhie, Canberra Times, 15 April 2009
'A rich, well-made wine, with some barrel ferment adding complexity to the honeyed tropical fruit flavours; does not show its alcohol on the finish. Rating 88'
'A beautiful nose, all ripe fruit and inviting, no need to define it further. Good textural qualities as it travels the palate, with flavours detaching themselves from the central core along the journey. Easily 90 points and great value at under $20.'
'A luscious style, with the classic Viognier perfume of musk, dried apricot and pear drops. Fruit flavours on the palate lead onto an aromatic aftertaste. Try it with Thai food.'
4 stars 'I this this is the best yet from this Victorian producer with a love of Rhone Valley varietals. Apricot flower and bergamot aromas leap from the glass, while the palate is unctuous and inviting. Best of all, it finishes with a good dry crisp note, something that sadly cannot be said of all wines made from this enticing variety.'
